Summary: Life continues with bumps in the road, but you get over them (or at least go around them). You talked out the problems between Maria and Steve, you finally spilled the entire story of your breakup with John, and you took a big step to conquering a really big fear you still had, even all those months after your abduction. You always knew, that no matter what happened, you had some really amazing people in your life to support you and carry you through, and they came through with flying colors when you needed them.
Author Notes: First and foremost, @MsEnglish101 is my lifeline to becoming a better writer. She is such a great beta, and she has, without a doubt, improved the reading experience for all of you. Follow her – she is an awesome writer in her own right! Next, this chapter was another one that just flowed (gotta admit, I kind of love that!), and it felt really good. I always appreciate the time it takes for you to leave kudos and comments, so please let me know what you think. Enjoy!!!
Pairing: Steve Rogers x Plus-Size OFC
Word Count: 4800
Warnings: Fluff, family and relationship drama, (trigger warning) healing after a trauma, some pretty strong angst, and explicit sexual content that is NSFW 18+. SERIOUSLY.
You had a coffee date with Maria. You were not looking forward to it, which made you feel off kilter and wrong inside. You suspected a showdown was inevitable and though conflict was not your idea of a good time, Maria thrived on it. Steve had asked if he should come to straighten things out first hand, but you knew his presence would only exacerbate the problem. For this go round, you wanted it to just be you and her hashing it out. You knew that despite her relief at your safe return, she was pissed at Steve and generally bewildered why you didn’t feel the same way. You took a deep breath when you walked into the coffee shop, saying a silent prayer that she knew how important both she and Steve were in your life. You gave her a long and hard hug when she arrived, noticing that she was just as edgy as you felt.

The phone was ringing. Again? Still? It was punching through the veil of unconsciousness, yanking you from your dream. You sat up with a gasp and blindly reached for the slim phone on your night stand.
“‘Ello?” you murmured, your voice heavy with sleep.
“Shit, I woke you.” It was Bucky, and he sounded as if he had gargled with shards of glass before placing the call.
You cleared your throat and wiped the sleep from your eyes, taking in the dull red numbers of your clock. “It’s okay, Buck.”
“No, it’s not. I… I’m sorry.” He let out a bone-shuddering sigh, one that made your chest tighten.
“What’s going on, are you okay?”
There was another sigh before he answered. “Yeah, no. I don’t know. I mean… I’m fine, Y/N.”
“It’s been a while since I heard from you,” you noted softly. “Are you sure you’re okay?”
Bucky sniffled loudly, the kind where you knew he’d been crying. “Right as rain, doll.”
“You know you can talk to me, Buck.”
“I know.”
You hated how utterly broken he sounded. “So, talk to me.”
“I ummm, I don’t… I didn’t mean to call you so late,” he stammered.
Your throat went tight and tears stung your eyes. “It’s okay, baby. Talk to me. Tell me what’s going on.”
Warnings: some language, a little dirty talk, mild smuttiness, Dean in a white button up with rolled up sleeves
A/N: SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG. Smut is hard and I still feel like a newb? This part isn’t that intense, so hopefully it doesn’t disappoint. I apologize for the petty situation surrounding the beginning of this, but APA IS SERIOUS BUSINESS lol. I tried to make this an entertaining series too because CHARLIE! Unbeta’ed.
You bit your lip nervously and made your way to the front of the room. “Yes, Professor?”
He waved you over, pointing to a specific spot on a paper resting on his desk. “Care to explain this?”
You recognized the paper as one of your own. Resting your palms on the desk, you bent over to skim the paper and try to figure out what you’d done wrong. Professor Winchester rested a hand on the desk next to yours and leaned to peek over your shoulder.
“Notice anything?”
“I-I guess I, uh, forgot to use APA format…” you managed to squeak.
“You guess, huh?” His warm breath and husky voice in your ear sent a shiver cascading down your spine. “You don’t sound very sure, Miss Y/L/N.”
He placed his hand on the small of your back and you suddenly forgot how to breath.
“Refusing to follow instructions…now what should we do about that?”
Closing your eyes, you pressed your lips into a hard line and bowed your head slightly, trying fight back a moan from the innuendo in his words. Your heart hammered in your chest as his hand lightly trailed the rest of the way down your back, caressing the globe of your ass before giving it a harsh squeeze. You whimpered and leaned back into his touch.
“What was that, sweetheart?” You could almost hear the smirk in his voice.
“Please…” you breathed. “It won’t happen again.”
“Good girl.”
He placed a kiss on the pulse point below your ear, and you involuntarily tilted your head away to give him more room. He nipped at your ear, continuing to massage and grip your ass as he began trailing kisses down the side of your neck. Pressing his chest against your back, he sucked a hickey at the base of your neck, marking you as his. His expert lips distracted you enough that you didn’t notice his fingers dancing lower. When he reached passed the hem of your skirt and ghosted over your damp core, you couldn’t help the desperate moan that escaped.
He chuckled darkly, reattaching his lips to your earlobe. “That’s it, pretty girl. Let me hear those sweet sounds of yours.”

Pictures did not do the man in front of you justice. His blue eyes were shining, his shaggy brown hair looked a little more disheveled than usual and his arms seemed to be almost bursting out of his red Henley.
“Y/N,” he repeated slightly more confident.
You weren’t sure how to react, but Bucky decided for you, pulling you out of your seat and into a hug.
A/N: Okay things are finally happening. She’s home and Josh is acting like a putz. Let’s chat about this fic y’all! Send me an ask or message if you want a tag. You can find the series masterlist here and my main masterlist here. Ask me for a tag here. GIF is mine.
Sitting on the plane from New York to your small hometown, you started thinking about the past few weeks.
As you prepared to set off for the wedding, it seemed you and Josh had been fighting more frequently. He seemed to be in a poor mood ever since he had agreed to go to the wedding. You had offered him an out a few times, telling him it was fine if he wanted to stay back, but he grumbled something about keeping his word every time.
A/N: Ahh! Chapter one! I’m real nervous about keeping up with this and figuring out where to take it. Our boy Bucky is coming soon I promise! Please please please let me know what you think! This GIF was all I could think of. Send me an ask for a tag! You can find the series master list here and my main masterlist here.
The next few hours seemed to go by impossibly slowly. You had finished your writing assignment and you had spent some time looking at old pictures. Pictures of you, Steve and Bucky as kids and through your teenage years. The three of you had been practically inseparable. Until Bucky decided to leave. Shaking your head to dispel the unpleasant memory, you slammed the photo album shut and put it away. You heard keys in the door and tilted your head in the direction of the door when it opened. Your boyfriend, Josh, wandered into the living room where you were curled on the couch.
“Hey, did you get dinner started at all?”
“Well hello boyfriend, I’m great thanks for asking,” you replied sarcastically.
