You and Bucky were sitting on the couch in your shared home, Bucky was sat up watching something on TV while you laid with your head in his lap with his fingers running through your hair. You were the one who broke the peaceful silence.
“Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, my friend Zach is coming into town and he’s gonna stay here for a night before he gets a hotel if that’s okay.”

You and Chris had just gotten home from the Infinity War premiere. Chris stayed behind in the kitchen to get Dodger set up for the night while you went upstairs to get yourself changed into something more comfortable for the rest of the evening you planned to spend alone with Chris. You kicked off your black heels and looked at your dress once again in the mirror. It wasn’t anything to fancy, a skater style dress with a black skirt that hit just above your knee and a white lace sleeveless top. You removed the headband you had been wearing and pulled your hair out of its updo, letting it tumble naturally down your back.

It had all started months ago. When you first showed up at the compound, Steve knew you were something special. You quickly and easily fit into the group despite not being an Avenger yourself. You were currently working with Tony on some new development and so he had arranged for you to move into the compound while the two of you worked. Steve quickly became infatuated with you. How you laughed when Wanda said something funny, how you were able to joke around with Sam, how gentle you were with Bucky.
