A/N: Hiya pals! This is my entry for @captain-rogers-beard ‘s Fall into Marvel challenge! I have never been so excited to write something. Apple picking was my promt and is my absolute favorite thing to do in the world and so getting to write this for her challenge was a true privilege. And this is so clearly based on real-life experience but that just made it that much more fun to write (and hopefully read?). Also, it was 99 degrees out when I wrote this. I am dying. GIF is mine and unrelated to the story


“James Buchanan Barnes, get your ass in gear and let’s move! We’ve got things to do today!” You yelled from your spot as you zipped up your boots.

“Geez doll,” Bucky said, strolling in the kitchen to plop down next to you. “I’ve never seen you so amped up.”

“That’s because you’ve never seen me during autumn! Also known as the best time of the year. Everything smells good and is so crunchy and it’s the perfect weather and–”

“I’ve heard the speech hun. You love autumn. I get it.” Bucky deadpanned, cutting you off.
