I’m actually really proud of how Executive Decisionis turning out. I read the 50 Shades series and I really wanted to write something that was like that, only good. To hear you say that, makes me happy, thank you.
As far as other Steve fic recommendations… I do have a few.
Pairing: Bucky x Reader, Clint x Reader (friendship)
Warnings: Mention of canon typical torture and violence. Fighting.
Square Filled: Craving their touch
Word Count: 1800ish
A/N: This one is written for @star-spangled-man-with-a-plan marvel mayhem challenge. My prompt is bolded in the text: “Life messes us up in so many ways, messes all of us right the hell up”
It is my first time writing Bucky (or any of the characters really) so please judge kindly.
Thanks to the amazing, sweet and my expert on all things marvel @emilyevanston for betaing this for me.

Clint and Steve were walking down the halls of the Stark tower as Steve was catching Clint up on their latest mission. Everything had worked out in the end, but that didn’t mean there haven’t been a few kinks along the way. A young Siberian man from the village they had been trying to save from invasion had recognized Bucky as the man that had tortured and killed his parents when he was a boy. He had attacked, before Steve and Bucky had gotten the chance to reason with him, resulting in his death as he was caught in the crossfire between the Avengers and the invaders.
Needless to say, Bucky hadn’t taken it well and honestly Steve was worried about him. He had been quiet all the way back and the instant they had reached the Stark Tower he had disappeared into his room. Steve had breathed a sigh of relief when Y/N had arrived. Bucky had been a different person ever since he met her. Well maybe not different, but more like the Bucky he had once known; the boy he had grown up with. Steve had hoped that her presence would help him somehow, but now that he heard the loud voices carrying from the Bucky’s room and towards the kitchen, he regretted being so stupid. Bucky wasn’t the same. Y/N had never seen him like this before and Steve should have known better. He should have stopped her or at the very least warned her what she was walking into.
Warnings: Smut. Dom!reader, male bondage, thigh riding, dirty talk, language (FORGIVE ME STEVE), rough sex.
A/N: Wow, this was longer than I intended. Sorry! Hope you enjoy it, because I don’t write smut often. And this is quite dirty for me…. Bucky is initially a dick, and Y/N decides to teach him a lesson.
“There she is. Surprised you’re up walking after last night, baby,” Bucky smirked over his mug as he took a sip of coffee. His comment sparked embarrassed and amused laughs from Steve and Sam.
You froze in your tracks, mouth wide with shock. You’d barely even stepped through the kitchen doorway. “Bucky, what the hell?”
“Relax doll, just having a little fun. It’s not like they don’t know what we do.”
Your face continued to flush four more shades of red as you avoided their eyes and grabbed a mug.
“That’s cold man,” Sam laughed. “This is a little too intimate for me. I’ll catch you guys later.” He turned to excuse himself. Steve gave you an apologetic look and followed close behind.
“Sleep well?” Bucky turned to you with innocent eyes, looking you up and down.
You scowled at him in response. “What the hell was that, Bucky?”
He shrugged. “Don’t act like you don’t talk about us with Nat. Besides. It’s been weeks since our missions lined up with enough time for us to have some fun. It’s not like it’s a surprise to anyone that we’d want to…catch up a little.” You stifled a gasp when he had the nerve to wink at you.
“You can be really insufferable sometimes, you know that Buck?”
He shot you a cheeky smile, causing you to roll your eyes and storm off, coffee long forgotten.
Sure, you’d missed him desperately. You’d accompanied Nat on a recon mission that had taken longer than planned, and the night before you got back, Bucky and Steve had met up with Thor for a HYDRA lead overseas. The two of you had a lot of lost time to make up for, and you hadn’t exactly slept much.
But at some point following the lengthy separation, he’d acquired a cocky attitude. He’d tease you and make you beg for him to let you finish. You had to admit it was always worth it, but the noises you made seemed to have done a number for his ego.
He needed a reality check, or at least to be reeled in a little. You’d show him.
You’d given Bucky the silent treatment all day, and holed yourself up in your room in preparation. You needed to catch him off guard.
When you walked into his room late that night, he didn’t look up immediately. You quietly closed the door and locked it behind you. Leaning back against it, you waited patiently until he finally looked up.
For the next couple of months, when Chloe and Bucky weren’t training, Bucky was teaching her Russian. She wanted to read the journal on her own. Bucky told her the fastest way to learn was to immerse herself in the language. Once she learned the basics, Bucky only spoke to her in Russian. He would help her out with the words or phrases he knew she was unfamiliar with, but he didn’t go easy on her. He made her figure it out.
The others would give them strange looks as they sat on the sofa, softly speaking in Russian. Everyone except for Natasha. When she walked by and listened she rolled her eyes.
Warnings: Angst, descriptions of gunshots, guns, explosions, some injuries. One cussword. Lol.
A/N: This section was meant to be shorter, but I really enjoyed writing it, so it became its own part. Italics are what’s happening, regular font is Bucky’s observations. Hope you enjoy!
(Also, I used Google maps. Sorry if some of this is inaccurate– I’ve never been to NYC)
Bucky’s POV
Bucky jerked his head up at the sound of the explosion and cursed under his breath. Apparently the HYDRA raid wasn’t going according to plan. He peeked through his scope and surveyed the scene below, picking off a few men that were turning to run toward the warehouse, guns in hand.
“Cap, I’ve got eyes on a group headed up 7th and another breaking off down Broadway. They had to have seen us coming,” Sam’s voice came through the mic in Bucky’s ear.
“Sam, take Broadway. Buck, can you get to 7th?” Steve asked.
“On it.”
Bucky removed his gun from the rooftop ledge and began sprinting. He leaped and easily cleared the space separating the building he was on from the one adjacent. Hitting the ground running, he continued on, watching the streets below. He paused when he found a rooftop with a vantage point closer to the intersection where Sam had spotted the outlier HYDRA members.
Resting his gun on the ledge, he sank to his knee and peered through the scope again to scan the streets.
People were pouring out of shops and businesses, and the police seemed to be directing them away from the Square. He clenched his jaw, carefully surveying the scene. There were hundreds, maybe even thousands of people, all out in the open. Exposed.
