The definition is the fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility.
You are held accountable for your actions, weather they have rewards or consequences, they are your responsibility.
You are held accountable for your mistakes, or not showing up on time for your jobs.
You are accountable for everything you say, or do.
So why is it people think they shouldn’t be held accountable for their promises?
Too many promises are broken, or simply made without the intention of keeping them.
To me i keep my promises to the best of my ability. I admit my faults and i try to do better
Don’t make promises just to shut someone up, don’t make them if you don’t intended to keep them. And admit wrong doing if you break them. Apologize, and try harder.
To continue to break promises you lose trust of those you gave your word to. And eventually might lose them all together.
Prompt – “It’s not fair. You keep this up and I just might-” “You ‘just might’ what? Leave me? Hurt me? You’ve done it all.” (I tweaked it big time)
A/N – This, I’ll call it a drabble, was written for my bestie @bionic-buckyb ‘s 8k angst challenge! Congrats on 8k and happy birthday, Kait! I’m sorry for making you cry. This takes place after Infinity War, it’s also my first ever Thor writing so that’s cool.
