He says that :

– he grew up here (in Romania) with his grandparents.

– he wishes he could come more often but he is busy with work, and being an actor means you don’t always have the job, so u do it when u have it. And he struggled for several years to get jobs. He just now starts to feel like he made it.

– Romania is not the same as America to him mostly because he is from here. And he did not expect such a welcoming.

– he appreciates the Romanian and European history (
since America is a much “younger“ country. 

) and the fact that Romanians put family above anything else. He remembers that his
grandparents

did so.

– being an actor still feels like a dream to him. He still can’t believe it.
