Mine just has extra minutes.” I just had to change around the wording a bit
to make it fit better.
Cheesy Pick-Up Lines and Forever
The night was dragging on an on as
one “date” after another sat down in front of me and gave me some bullshit line
on how it was nice to meet me when I could read their expression that said
meeting me was anything but. Every single one was the same: bell rings, guy
sits, dislike at first sight, awkward conversation until the bell rings again.
Over and over and over again.
I hate speed dating. I hate blind
dates. I just hate dates in general. It just never turns out well for me in the
end. I’m a plus-sized gal living in a world where Hollywood and the media shame
us for not looking like those actors and actresses on the silver screen. But I’ve
spent my whole life learning to be happy with myself and my body, and what
these men didn’t realize is that I’m perfect just the way I am.
And yet they don’t get to see that
with the very limited time we’re given with the person across from us.
