“But, it’s never one beer with you, Stevie.” He might be an alcoholic. Given the horrors of being in the military, Steve probably used alcohol as a coping mechanism. Who knows? The reader is a handful for sure! My goodness.

Poor Stevie. As much as my heart hurts for him because of how Sharon is acting, a part of me loves it because it means he’s that much closer to the reader lol another great chapter and I can’t wait for more!!
