I’m not the only one thinking evil twin. Good. Although, going back to the prologue, I’m thinking that the parents had the evil twin locked up in a mental hospital and Bucky grew up feeling safe because he was told by his parents that the twin would never be able to leave the hospital because of how sick the twin was/is.
