Oh my god that ending, HAPPY TEARS FOREVER, I’m so happy she got a therapist, I’m so happy that Marge writes her sticky notes for her, I’m so soooo happy Frank is there with her, the part when they say they loved each other was perfect, the little part with the flashback about her family ouch that was heartbreaking, but he’s got her happy ending with Frank and she deserves it sooooo much

This was so good. And frighteningly realistic. Battered women who reach out to the police are often made to feel like it was their fault, like they did something wrong to be in the situation. I love reading your work, it’s always so true to life that it’s scary.
It hits a lot close to home for me.
