it’s been 10 years since he was cast as iron man, his career was pretty much done for, and he was just starting to live a healthy life after all the shit he went through, nobody believed he could be a decent tony stark, even rdj himself felt so nervous in his audition because it was everything or nothing for him… nobody ever thought iron man could be the big success that it was, and now all the movies in the mcu are just so successful and popular because they saw that it could be done… and, whether you like it or not, everyone knows that iron man and the man who played him started it all
