Your eyes snapped open to the sounds of thunder
rumbling in the sky. The hair on your arms and the back of your neck began to
rise, as you felt the static electricity begin to tickle up the back of your
shirt. Pushing yourself up on your elbows and twisting your body around, you
saw Thor lying close behind you, his hands balled into fists, blue licks of
energy flickering up his forearms. He was vibrating with the power that coursed
through his veins, the hot blue current glazing over his eyes.
“Thor…” you whispered, cupping his troubled
face, feeling the intensity lick your skin. You were trying your best to stay
calm, unsure of how powerful he could become. Another booming thunder clap,
followed by a strike of lightning right outside the window made you squeal.
“Thor, it’s okay,” you shouted this time. “Wake up, please!”
A/N: Sorry this took a bit longer than expected. It’s busy season at work, so I’m doing my best to update this and my other series as quickly as I can. This one is a bit more in depth so I have to really think about it. But I hope you all like it. v

Thor held tightly to one of your hands, as Bruce gently took the other and placed cuffs lined with foam over each finger. They squeezed each tip, but caused no pain.
“Just a bit of pressure,” Bruce spoke. It was almost like clothespins squeezing each finger. “Let me know if anything hurts at any time and we’ll stop immediately, okay?”
You nodded, unable to hide your nervousness. Your legs were trembling and you clenched them together, to try and make it stop. Thor squeezed the hand he held in his own, and leaned his head against yours. He smelled so good; like earth, and leather, and fresh grass.
A/N: I stayed up until 6:30 my time writing this part of the story and trying to make it perfect, so I hope you all like it. Thank you for all of your kind words on parts 1-3. You fuel me to write! As I make this post to queue now, a thunderstorm rumbles outside, so I think the god himself agrees that I worked hard on this. “How long do you expect to keep this up, brother?” a smooth, poisonous voice spoke to Thor in the darkness behind Odin’s heavily adorned throne. “Do you really expect father to keep her here? To allow her to be your queen when Valhalla finally calls him home? You know that she is not of Asgardian heritage…”
“Last time I checked, Loki,” Thor spoke, standing from the throne and turning to face his adopted brother. “Father had not one single problem keeping you here all of this time. And for what? To make all of Asgard miserable, to cause us pain.”

Your mind snapped back to consciousness, but your eyes remained closed. There were muffled voices around you at first, but they became clearer as your brain slowly awakened itself fully. You half expected all of this to be another dream, that you’d never actually met Thor and your mind had finally cracked, fabricating this entire scenario. But after a few moments, the voices started to get louder and closer…
“Well, if she really is in danger like you say, you obviously did the right thing bringing her here…” the voice you recognized as Banner said, his voice the softest of them all. Clearly, the most level headed.
“Is your tower still the safest place on the planet, Stark?”
A/N: I had SO MUCH FUN writing part one and even more fun writing this! It’s so freeing to write for other characters, especially Thor, and to explore the marvel universe more. Your heart felt like it stopped in your chest, as Thor’s astonishingly clear, blue eyes pierced your very soul. You couldn’t believe it. The person you’d been dreaming about for literal years, was standing right in front of you. But how? How was this possible? Your brain worked in overdrive over every explanation, but the overpowering fuzz of uncertainty claimed the most space. Shaking your head, you tried to clear your mind and think rationally. Thor’s brow was furrowed in apparent concern, sweet wrinkles appearing by his eyes as he concentrated.
“Is everything alright?” he asked, reaching out a very large hand, and placing it on your shoulder in a genuinely concerned manner. Only five minutes in this being’s presence, and you had already deemed him perfection.
